Copy and Paste Operations | ||
These are the steps I will explain below: | ||
Step 1 - "Select" the content you wish to copy | ||
Step 2 - "Copy" the content | ||
Step 3 - "Paste" the content | ||
Step 1 - "Selecting" or "Highlighting" | ||
- Using your mouse, position the cursor at the beginning of the text you wish to copy | ||
- Press the left button on the mouse and drag the cursor to the end of the text you wish to copy | ||
- You should see that the text is being highlighted as you drag the mouse along | ||
- Let your finger off the button when you get to the end of the text you wish to copy | ||
- If you have been successful, the highlighting should remain in place, if not, try again | ||

Step 2 - Copying | ||
There are two common ways of copying | ||
a - Right click on the page, this should present you with a pop-up menu - click on "COPY" | ||
b - With the text still highlighted, press the Control (CTRL) and the letter C at the same time | ||
--- Pick the method you like and Copy the text on this page now --- | ||
Step 3 - Pasting | ||
- Without closing this browser, open a fresh email | ||
- Place your cursor in the body of the email as if you are about to write a note | ||
- Pick your method below and Paste the content you just copied into that email: | ||
a - Right click on the body of the email and click "paste" in the drop down menu | ||
b - Press Control (CTRL) and the letter V at the same time | ||
