You know how to save a webpage as HTML? Awesome! |
||
NOTE: Saving a file to HTML is NOT the same as "print to file," doing a screen capture, or printing and scanning the page - please don't do any of these things. Saving to an HTML file is a specific thing, don't try to wing it unless you understand what it is.
Follow the directions given for copying and pasting the data into an email, for a basic idea of what I need, but instead of copying and pasting stuff, just save the entire page as an HTML file for EACH page that is available.
Be sure to save these to a place on your computer where you can quickly find them again, like right on your desktop. You can delete them after you're sure you've sent them to me and I have received them okay.
Go through the copy and paste directions now, saving pages as HTML instead.
If you do not know how to save
web pages as HTML files, and just looked here out of curiosity - I'm
sorry - there are too many different browsers and versions that work in
slightly different ways for me to provide instructions for every one -
and half the people I work with surprisingly are not even sure what
browser they are using. I even get the question, "What's a
browser?" at times. If you know your browser and want to learn this skill, you can Google it or find a video on YouTube by searching for "save web page to html in (name of your browser.)" |
||
Or - just use the copy/paste instructions - that's good enough, don't trouble yourself with this unless you really want to learn a new skill right now.
