Hazards Other ?
Hazards Other ?
What is an example of Hazards other ?
Re: Hazards Other ?
Hazards/Other could be anything that the inspector thinks could be unsafe that is not covered by a definition in the protocol. The resident has placed an air conditioner in a second floor window and has not secured it to keep it from falling on someone below. There is a low hanging metal strut right at eye level as you round a corner that someone could run into and put their eye out. There’s a random door that opens to a ten story drop off . I like to think of it as “the Wile E. Coyote defect,” it covers that dumb thing that could hurt somebody that nobody has recognized.
We cite Hazards/Other as a kind of FYI, to CYA, because WTF, if you get my meaning.
