Is there a set requirement for records regarding emergency power generator use. Like how often a generator should be tested and ran.

As far as we are concerned, we just want to see that there is a regular run-up log being maintained. It like a rubber stamp item for us. Yes, there is a log being kept or no, there is not one. However, there is probably an actual standard that varies by locality. The state of Minnesota has a 6 page set of requirements at https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 4iEinf0d-y

The state of Florida has a web page concerning emergency power requirements for health care facilities at https://ahca.myflorida.com/MCHQ/Emergen ... /EPP.shtml

Somewhere, there is probably a 200 page book on this topic… all we care about is yes there is a currently maintained log, no there is not a log. 😊
