Who is responsible for reporting dangerous deficiencies to HUD?

During a REAC inspection, all the defects get reported when the inspection data is uploaded to HUD via the internet. The inspector will also give the property rep a written report of the so-called Life Threatening or Exigent Health and Safety hazards that must be repaired within 24 hours. It then becomes the property rep’s responsibility to report back to HUD that these have been remedied within 72 hours of the inspection.
