overgrown vegetation on downspouts

Downspout with overgrowth that has damaged the downspout and the wall that the downspout is resting on. Would you just mention the overgrowth or the downspouts and overgrowth separately.

If we saw a downspout that was damaged, we would cite the downspout damage and of we saw the damage was caused by overgrown vegetation, we would cite the overgrown vegetation as well – both defects would be cited.
